Tim Ursprung, a native of Long Island, New York, has more than 6 years of experience working in the United States House of Representatives for a former senior member of the chamber.
Prior to joining TBA, Tim attended Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY and studied International Relations. Upon graduation, Tim joined the office of Congressman Pete King on Capitol Hill, where he advised the Congressman as a senior member on the House Financial Services Committee. In his role staffing Congressman King on committee, Tim served as the lead Republican negotiator for a long term reauthorization of both the Terrorism Risk Insurance Program and the National Flood Insurance Program. In addition to Financial Services, Tim worked on Tax, Pensions, Energy, and Environmental policy. Tim was deeply involved in the fight against the cap on the State and Local tax (SALT) deduction, and the passage of Butch-Lewis in the House of Representatives.
