Julia Fahl is the Vice President of Legislative Affairs at Tonio Burgos and Associates. Julia has over a decade of experience working as a local and federal political fundraiser. She is an expert in creating and funding both political and issue-based campaigns. She is also a candidate for Mayor in her town of Lambertville, NJ. She is running unopposed in her general election.
Prior to joining Tonio Burgos & Associates, Julia worked as a Development Director for Planned Parenthood Action Fund of New Jersey – focused on building an Independent Expenditure for Governor Phil Murphy’s general election. She also served as the New Jersey In-State Finance Director for Governor Phil Murphy’s primary campaign. She previously sat as the Democratic National Committee’s LGBT Leadership Council Director. Throughout her career, Julia has worked with candidates, policy experts, and stake-holders to build strategic and successful campaigns that support candidates and causes. With this work she has maintained an extensive network of state and federal political operatives and policy makers across the country – particularly in her home state of New Jersey.
Julia is also the presumptive Mayor-elect of Lambertville, NJ a city with over 4,000 residents in Central New Jersey. Julia was recently profiled in the New York Times “A 28-Year-Old Novice, She Took on the Machine and Won” (2018). She has also been recognized by InsiderNJ as Top 20 most influential Millennials in New Jersey and in 2017 with her wife Kari Osmond as a NJ Power Couple.
