Nichole F. LoPresti
As Vice President of Tonio Burgos & Associates of New Jersey, Nichole works directly with the firm's President regarding its operations in New Jersey. Nichole brings with her experience in New Jersey from both the public and private sector.
Prior to working at Tonio Burgos & Associates of New Jersey, Nichole was employed as a lobbyist for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. In her position with the company, Ms. LoPresti worked collaboratively with legislators, regulators, civic groups, and peer organizations to improve the health care experience for New Jersey's residents. Nichole also worked closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with state laws and regulations. She has done extensive work on crisis management, as well as complex insurance issues.
Before joining Horizon, Nichole was Director of Government Relations for the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey. She acted as the organization's lobbyist in Trenton. Ms. LoPresti organized and oversaw all activities of the Chamber's policy committees. In addition, Nichole coordinated and oversaw research completed by the Chamber's Board Council on Responsible Government Spending. Ms. LoPresti worked closely with experts in the business community to identify ways in which state government could control costs pertaining to distribution logistics and enhanced cooperative purchasing.
Prior to her work at the Chamber, Nichole served as Director of Constituent Services and Outreach for Assembly Budget Committee Chairman Louis D. Greenwald. Ms. LoPresti was involved in drafting, tracking, and researching legislation as well as providing support for the Assemblyman with the State Budget. Her duties also included the resolution of all constituent matters in areas ranging from taxation, labor, healthcare, environment, energy and transportation.
Ms. LoPresti is a member of the Board of Trustees of NEWJOBS, the State's oldest and largest business political action committee. Nichole is also a member of the following organizations: the American Association of University Women; Democrats 2000; League of Women Voters; National Women's Political Caucus; and the Women's Political Caucus of New Jersey.
Nichole has a Master's degree in American Government from Villanova University and a Bachelor's degree from Mount St. Mary's University.
